Terms & Conditions
BOOKINGS: Advance bookings are appreciated and should be accompanied by a £40 per week non-refundable deposit. (Cheques payable to S.Lock), if booking by telephone or e-mail pitches will be reserved for 7 days. If you wish to book a specific pitch number please let us know, we will do our utmost to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee it. Your confirmation is a contract between yourselves and Sunnymead Farm, if you wish to amend the booking in any way after the confirmation has been issued, there will be a £10 administration fee. The balance must be paid 28 days before arrival and no reminders will be sent, receipts sent on request only. Refunds are not given under any circumstances. We strongly recommend you take out suitable cancellation insurance.
TENTS: The majority of our pitches are 9 X 9 metres wide if your tent requires more space you may need to book 2 adjoining pitches.
ARRIVALS: Please pull into the field and check in at Reception before pitching. You are welcome to arrive at any time but we cannot guarantee your pitch will be available before 12 noon, especially in July & August. If arriving late please be aware fellow campers may be sleeping.
DEPARTURES: Please vacate your pitch by 10.30am.
EXTENDING YOUR STAY: We would be grateful for as much notice as possible but if on the day you are due to depart you wish to stay longer please inform us before 10am. Please note: This cannot be guaranteed.
OTHER CAMPERS: We would respectfully request that you show consideration for your fellow campers whilst staying with us. As Sunnymead Farm is a family campsite we would also ask all campers to keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm.
PLAY AREA: The play area is for the use of children up to the age of 12 only, please supervise your children at all times whilst they use the equipment and please note that they do so at your own risk. The proprietors of Sunnymead farm can in no way be held responsible for any accidents. Please note: for the safety of the farm animals and wildlife the use of water bombs & BB Guns are prohibited on site.
RE-CYCLING: All waste must be placed in the correct containers within the recycling area. For large items directions for the Ilfracombe recycling centre can be obtained from Reception, under no circumstances should they be left on the site.
CARS: Please drive extremely slowly as there will be children and animals that will not see you.
DOGS: Are most welcome but please keep them on their leads whilst on site, use the walking area provided and clean up after them, thank you.
TOILETS & SHOWERS: These are provided free of charge, please consider your fellow campers and leave them as you would wish to find them.
BARBECUES: You are welcome to use barbecues but please do not place them directly on the grass.
STATIC CARAVAN:
Please report any problems to reception immediatly so we may try to rectify them for you as soon as possible. We ask that you leave the van as you find it please and the van is strictly no smoking. If anything is found damaged or missing after your departure we will invoice you accordingly, like wise should the van require extra cleaning we reserve the right to invoice an extra cleaning charge of £20.
Dogs are welcome in the caravan but they must not be left unattended.
