For the 2011 season we created a new dedicated Reception area and now have an onsite caffe/takeaway which will be open
during High Season for Breakfasts and Evening meals/snacks. Low and Mid season on a pre-order basis only.

So if you fancy a break from the cooking give us a try.

In 2009/2010 we spent the winter totally refurbishing the original shower block, it now has a new roof, new lighting throughout and been redecorated inside to provide:

Large family shower room with electric shower - toilet - washbasin - and for babies we have included a baby bath, little persons toilet seat and work surface area for changing.
2 brand new Dishwashing sinks with free hot water

New in 2009 were a mixture of pitch types, (see tariff and

pitch plan for details) we created a roadway and put in more electric hookups and water points.

Animals and wildlife you may encounter during your stay at Sunnymead Farm.

On the Farm we officially keep Free Range Chickens, Ducks, a Pony a Donkey, a Dog and a Cat. Unofficial seasonal visitors are several families of swallows, the site is also home to families of Rabbits and you may be lucky enough to see a Buzzard who we see regularly in the winter on fences surrounding the campsite.

In the neigbouring field depending on the time of year you will see Ewes and their Lambs or Devon Red cattle.
