We are a small friendly family run site, set in 4 acres of glorious North Devon countryside with direct access from the B3343 between Mullacott Cross and Woolacombe.
A warm welcome awaits you at Sunnymead Farm Campsite and we invite you to come and relax whilst enjoying the outstanding views over the fields towards the sea at Lee Bay, plus not forgetting some fabulous sunsets. Sunnymead Farm is ideally situated between the villages of Mortehoe, Lee and Woolacombe, and the town of Ilfracombe. We believe you will find Sunnymead Farm to be the ideal location to make your home from home base from which to explore the delights of the countryside and beaches of North Devon, the nearby beautiful South West coastal paths and Exmoor National Park are full of wild beauty and natural treasures with idyllic villages to explore.

If it is a beach holiday you want without the hustle and bustle of oversized overcrowded campsites, then look no further Sunnymead Farm is just 3 miles from Woolacombe Beach, with its "Blue Flag" status, lifeguard station, no wonder it is the place to be for families. Looking for surf, then Woolacombe, Putsborough, Saunton & Croyde, can offer you a challenge and are all within easy reach.
We currently use about 1.5 acre's for camping split into 2 enclosures with another acre available for rallies.
Our pitches are marked out and numbered but they are no strict rules as to how you pitch up i.e. your caravan front faciing, to the left of the pitch, to the right etc It is your pitch and how you place your tent or van on it is up to you, so long as it will not inconvienience your neighbours, and adhere to health & saftety guidleines.
The fields are level with some shelter and from most pitches you have views over the fields to the sea at Lee Bay and the Welsh coast beyond.
Built in 2008 our recycling area has prooved to be a popular addition to the site - as we are all be being encouraged to recycle as much waste as possible at home, but often when we go on holiday it is difficult to keep up this good work so in our recycling area we have provided separate bins for bottles, tins, aluminium cans and cardboard so we can try and do our bit for the environment.
We are not a working farm but at present we do have some free-range chickens and ponies called Ranger & Bracken. In the fields surrounding us you will also see depending on the time of year sheep and lambs or Devon Red cattle.
View from the 2nd Field towards the coast
Sunnymead Farm is ideally situated for visiting either the Victorian seaside resort of Ilfracombe (3 miles away), the surfing beaches of Woolacombe (3 miles away), Saunton and Croyde or for using as a base to explore the rest of North Devon and Exmoor.
